THE ROLE
We are currently seeking someone for an Assistant Farm Manager position on a state-of-the-art rearing farm, for an immediate start. The position will equally suit an experienced team leader with poultry livestock experience or someone who is ready to take their next career step into a team leadership position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Assistant Farm Manager you will work closely with the Farm Manager, and will be responsible for leading, supervising and mentoring a small team of farm hands across a range of farm duties, whilst ensuring animal welfare and farming best practices.
- Hands-on leadership of a team of poultry farm hands
- Meet the company’s high standards of animal welfare
- Comply with Workplace Health & Safety policies
- Computer literate
- Work with a team to improve productivity
- Prior experience in managing poultry livestock
- The ability to supervise a small team
- Computer skills - MS Office
- Actively promoting a safe and productive company culture
The role is located in Griffith, NSW, Australia.
REMUNERATION
