About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our fresh produce business in a full-time capacity at our Canning Vale warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely unloading and loading of fresh produce along with warehousing activities, storage, labelling and managing orders and stock on bespoke computer system.
The ideal candidate will be both a efficient and able to work in a busy environment.
The role is 5 days per week, based in Canning Vale, 5am till 2pm Tuesday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Forklift operations, manual handling to ensure produce arrivals and dispatch to meet our customer requirements
- Checking paperwork to confirm receivals and dispatches match produce being delivered
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Warehousing of fresh produce
- Labelling, pallet wrapping, computer work as required
- Quality and safety management processes will be crucial
Skills & Experience Required
- Physically fit
- Forklift (High Risk) Licence is essential
- Drivers licence is essential
- A strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Experience in fresh produce or warehouse skills would be ideal but is not a necessity
