Job Description
The Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery is looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Director of Finance to lead the day to day operations of the Finance department
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Receivables and Payroll
- Assisting with compiling annual budgets and monthly forecasting
- Ensuring timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Engaging with department managers to develop effective measures to enhance the department’s profitability
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting
- Highly organised and able to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and coach other departments to the desired outcomes
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
