Little Wonderland Childcare has an exciting opportunity for Assistant float educator to join our Centre. We are seeking dedicated team members with a passion for providing high quality care and learning outcomes for children. Our Centre has a friendly team and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten program.
Your skills and qualifications should include:
- Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care;
- Blue Card;
- HLTAID012 First aid;
- An understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS);
- Basic knowledge of using digital childcare software ie. Storypark;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Must be friendly and have a positive outlook and demeanor;
- Must be dedicated and professional;
- Be organised and have a natural ability to multitask;
- Enjoy taking on responsibility and are driven to improve your practices & grow.
You will be required to:
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times;
- Assist the lead educators;
- Be able to do opens /closes & able to work Mon-friday
- Follow all Centre policies, procedures and Government regulations and National Law without exception. This includes usage of Centre forms, daily procedures and centre practices;
- Provide the highest quality of care and education with awareness of Early Childhood practice changes;
- Have willingness for continual growth in professional development and always behave as a positive role model;
- Work in collaboration with other staff and Nominated Supervisor to assist in program and service development and implementation;
- Prepare and serve food and beverages for the children as required in keeping with the Centre’s Food Safety Program and Food Handling guidelines.
