The successful candidate:
As the Assistant Front Office Manager you will be responsible for the overall care, hospitality and service given to our guest/s throughout their stay. Your purpose, including but not limited to,
- Ensure the smooth daily operation and coordination of the Front Office department to maximize revenue and occupancy
- To develop and train all current and new Front Office Associates to be multi-tasked in providing unobtrusive, uncomplicated service.
- Obtain feedback from guests to improve quality standards of service; ensure that personalized service is extended to all guests. Effectively communicating with all other departments including maintaining the daily reports, and leading the operation briefings for the team
- Ensure a memorable experience for all guests, making everyone feel welcomed and valued
- Ensure that the team achieves the monthly room upselling and enrolment targets. Assist in Managing departmental costs & budget.
Ideally you will have:
- Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays and display control under pressure
- Demonstrated experience with Opera PMS
- Experience as a Duty Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a 4-5 star hotel
- Strong oral and written communication and listening skills
- The ability to build rapport with team members and guests
- A guest service focus and enjoy leading a team
- A Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (essential)
- A Valid First Aid certificate is essential
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
