Seeking for an experienced information officer to join a large State Government department in Perth CBD
Your new company
A State Government department is seeking an experienced Information Officer working on an initial temporary contract. You will be based in Perth CBD. You will be providing high level administrative support and maintaining strict levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
*Please note, to be successful in this role, you must undergo a National Criminal History Check by the organisation. Please note that this can take a number of weeks to complete.
Your new role
- Assessing and answering requests from Departmental staff for access to information.
- Conducting searches using the internal and external Records Systems.
- Producing criminal history reports and distributing those reports internally.
- Assists with producing interstate criminal history reports
- Answering enquiries via phone, email and an internet portal.
- Other duties as required in accordance with strategic objectives, business plans, local workload priorities and performance management plans
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills
- To be successful in this role, you must undergo a National Criminal History Check. Please note that this can take a number of weeks to complete
