As their commercial team continues to expand, the business seeks an aspiring Management Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a business with lots of positive momentum.
The Challenge
Supporting the Accountant and Commercial Finance Manager, you will be assisting with the following duties:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation and ongoing monitoring and review of performance
- Preparation of general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation and corporate reporting
- Analysis and providing guidance for the business both operationally and commercially
- Leading the continuous improvement of management financial reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and completion of year end audits
- Providing ad-hoc support to the broader finance team
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- Working towards completing your CPA/CA Qualification
- 3-5 years experience working within a relevant role
- Intermediate excel skills and the ability to proactively develop financial models to guide business decisions
- Strong communication and personable skills and the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders
