The successful candidate will be providing support to the Management Accountant and cost centre managers to make informed decisions and improve performance.Ryde Hospital is undergoing a $479m redevelopment. The redevelopment will provide a purpose built facility and expansion of services to the Ryde community. - Assisting with financial performance reporting
- Managing general accounts payable/receivable tasks
- Partnering with key stakeholders
- Assisting with facility asset management
- Assisting with projects to improve financial reporting and processes
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Health Administration and/or extensive experience in accounting within a large organisation, preferably within the public sector.
- In the current financial climate, it is a nil growth budget – demonstrate approaches you have taken in the past when under cost pressures and the need to reduce expense deficits to target.
- This role requires working with a wide range of senior stakeholders with varying degrees of finance knowledge. Please provide examples of how you have engaged with stakeholders to achieve an outcome or implement a project.
