About the jobWe are seeking an Assistant Manager who is passionate about people, cares about their team and excels at building customer relationships.
Simply put you have a customer service + people first attitude. You will be someone who takes pride in their work, and enjoys working as part of a team!
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, and working alongside another Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, product and presentation at all times, and mobilising the workforce to strive for the equivalent in excellence
- Running the floor during meal periods to ensure that all service standards are met through all guests interactions.
- Hands-on supervision of all bar/restaurant operations and team members including assisting in rostering and planning
- Resolution of guest service issues in regards to service and food quality, ensuring we utilise the opportunity for recovery as a way of leaving a lasting and positive impression
- Maintenance of staffing levels, appropriate to limiting costs but ensuring excellence in service standards are not compromised
Operating 7 days, this venue will require weekend work.
