The Role
We are currently hiring for an Assistant Manager to join our medical centre team located at Our Medical Ashmore
This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Practice Manager. You will be responsible for completing administration tasks and customer service tasks on a day to day basis. You will also support the Practice Manager by providing supervision, training and mentoring to new and less experience administration staff to grow into their role.
You will be a customer service focused professional with experience working in a general practice environment. You will be responsible for providing a high quality service to patients and providing administration support to our healthcare professionals.
You will be familiar with Medicare and will preferably have experience in using Best Practice practice management software.
Essential Experience & Qualities
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High standards of personal presentation.
- Able to work independently on a variety of administration tasks
- Act as a role model within the administration team
- Proficient computer skills.
The Person
To be considered for this role, you must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry in a similar role
- Experience with Best Practice or similar practice management systems will be viewed favourably
- Self-motivated individual with a professional, enthusiastic and “can do" attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Highly organised
- Experience in people management
