Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards and exceptional service that your customers have come to expect. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals in providing top-notch coffee, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities: Lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including opening and closing shifts. Ensure that the cafe consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience. Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor expenses to maintain profitability.

Train, mentor, and develop cafe staff, providing guidance and support. Implement and enforce health and safety standards. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Schedule and coordinate shifts, including weekends and evenings. Drive sales through creative marketing and up-selling strategies. Work closely with the management team to achieve financial and operational goals.

Your experience: Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant management role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

Enthusiasm for coffee and a good understanding of coffee preparation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully. Availability for morning, night, and weekend shifts.

Proficiency in inventory management and cost control. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven track record in achieving sales and customer service goals.
