As we grow, we are now seeking an Assistant Manager to support our Venue Manager in the smooth operations of weddings, hosted events and all other functions.
As House on Haines is situated behind The Gully Public House & Garden, the two venues share a team of professionals delivering an unforgettable experience.
About the role:
- Work closely with the Venue Manager and BDM to deliver seamless events.
- Set up and pack down of room(s).
- Supervise events, provide direction to staff and liaise with client/s.
- Liaise with the Chef regarding service and timings.
- Heavily operational role, focused on service delivery.
About you:
- Passion for delivering an unforgettable experience.
- Must have experience with different styles of function service, including weddings.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team.
- Positive attitude.
- Some pub experience in order to work together with the team and fill in shifts at The Gully as needed.
- Must be available to work events, including weekends and nights.
