Assistant Manager

An outstanding opportunity for a Hospitality Gun to be a part of something exciting and new. We require a genuine hospitality person who understands the importance of teamwork, commitment, efficiency and who wants to make their mark. 

We need someone to assist our management and lead our team with knowledge of modern hospitality experience. You will be supported by owners and management who have a wealth of experience, knowledge to succeed and flourish in your new role.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate about food and drinks and the industry and can develop and motivate a team  to perform at a very high level. 

Successful candidates must have:

• 6-12 months experience in a supervisory role
• Proficient working under pressure 
• Able to follow instructions and keep them consistent 
• Well-presented and great communication skills 
• Ability to multi-task and work as a team player 
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, share, cross-train 
• Outstanding attention to details 

Certain duties will include but are not limited to:

• Manage staff, manage customers and general end of night responsibilities
• Run the Venue in the Managers absence.
• Maintaining wage costs to specific percentages set by the manager and the company.
• Lead a team of 15 plus staff
• Closing the venue, accounting and reporting
• Weekend work compulsory
