My client is a 6-partner firm that have been in operation for over 30 years. Their key service offerings include business advisory, tax, audit, VCFO, and superannuation.
Their client base consists of HNWIs, SMEs & large corporates up to $250m in turnover - not industry specific but some examples include architect/engineering, manufacturing, transport, retail, financial services, & logistics.
The office maintains a work hard yet friendly and relaxed environment where you aren’t micromanaged. It’s a close-knit team where everyone enjoys coming into work. The business actively promotes form within so there's plenty of opportunity to move up the ranks in a relatively short period of time.
They are now looking to recruit a Supervisor/Assistant Manager for one of their strongest performing teams. You will be working closely with a Senior Manager who is extremely supportive and hands on with his team.

Key duties will include:
- Compiling and analysing financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual BAS’s and income tax returns
- Resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Researching taxation matters and communicate findings with Managers/Directors
- Delegating work to Graduate Accountants, and supporting them in their learning, and reviewing simple jobs as required
- Assisting with advisory based services for clients
The ideal candidate:
- CA/CPA qualified
- 5 + years experience in a public practice firm, working across a diverse range of entities
- Experience mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff members
- High level organisational and time management skills
- Experience using Xero & MYOB software
- Strong communication skills and a desire to be client facing
