Reporting to the NSW Distribution Centre Manager, you will be a disciplined and self-motivated individual who is proficient at time management with a strong sense of purpose.
This role will assist the NSW Distribution Centre Manager with the daily management of the Distribution Centre including the coordination of stock movements, mentoring/developing staff, health and safety and performance of all permanent and casual employees.
Previous experience as a senior supervisor within a warehousing environment will be looked upon favourably.

Reporting to the NSW DC Manager, key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Be responsible for the day to day operation of the site, liaising with supervisors across multiple departments
- Supervising, mentoring and leading the Warehouse team on the safe operations and productivity of the warehouse
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
- Lead, mentor and develop the team to promote continuous improvement activities in line with our core values
- Clear and constant communication with the warehouse supervisors on a regular basis regarding any specific staffing issues or customer requests
- Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes
- Co-ordinate stock movements and liaise between 3PL’s
- Maximise warehouse storage capacity by properly organizing pallet locations and floor space
- Communicate and solve problems that arise in the warehouse
- Implement inventory control measures to minimise losses and ensure optimal stock levels
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures and picking integrity
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly driven individual with a strong desire to accomplish and have:
- Experience as a senior supervisor in a warehousing environment
- The ability at interrogating data and reports for effective decision making
- Exposure and experience managing a fast-paced work environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team, drive change, and deliver results
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required
- Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are desirable
- High attention to detail and accuracy
