This role is based at a Dexus retail asset, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and be responsible in providing effective leadership in the Operations Team and centre frontline teams. This role will assist the Operations Manager with delivery of the centre business plan, key contract management and preventive maintenance.
How you will make an impact
- This role represents a leadership position within the Centre Management team, supporting Operations manager in delivery of Business Plan objectives for the asset.
- Lead the technical services and plant equipment management, including hard services contracts, equipment repair and maintenance and asset compliance.
- Key focus on best practice in environmental health and safety, maintenance standards, strategic planning, programming and budgeting.
- Control purchase procedures within operations area.
- Conduct regular building and car park inspections.
- Manage all engineering scheduled and services.
- Ensure physical elements of building, plant and systems are well maintained.
- Contractor management and governance.
- Financial management, budgeting forecasting and benchmarking.
- Periodic review of utility and waste management services.
- Capital works planning, project management and delivery.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in facilities/project management discipline is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in Shopping Centre Management.
- Strong experience in a technical/hard service role within Facilities Management / Operations.
- Excellent contract and relationship management.
- Strong financial acumen.
- High level experience with risk management and governance.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Technical and soft service contract procurement and management.
