An exciting opportunity has opened for an Assistant Product Manager to join the Card Product Management Team.
You will represent the voice of the customer, supporting the delivery of a premium value proposition, supporting long-term profitability and upholding our brand values.
Key accountabilities:

• Support the Product Manager on the execution of the premium consumer product strategy.
• Delivery of product refreshes, benefit launches and special projects through partnership with functional teams.
• Support the Product manager and team Director on strategic initiatives to maximize revenue growth.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors and partners, maximizing partner sourced value.
• Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) and be proactive in protecting our brand.
• Ensure a high standard of product compliance, identifying and addressing any operational or regulatory risk.
• Conduct regular portfolio performance analysis identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
• Partner with global teams to both share best practices.
• Analyse market research and segmentation to assess customer attitudes to our products and potential for partnerships.
• Ongoing analysis and reporting of competitive trends, threats and opportunities.
• Liaise with marketing teams regarding product positioning, promotions, and go-to-market execution of campaigns.
• Close working relationship with servicing teams across Card, Risk, Credit and Travel & Lifestyle ensuring premium customer experience.

• Have strong commercial acumen, including ability to identify and size business opportunities.
• Have proven project management experience with discipline to manage multiple projects running concurrently.

• Be analytically minded with the ability to turn data and research into actionable insights.
• Be a customer advocate with a pulse of trends shaping demand.
• Have a good understanding of Amex products and competitive landscape
• Have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence at all levels.
• Be motivated, resilient, results focus
• Have 5+ years’ experience in a Product or Marketing environment.
