The Role
Our client is an ASX-listed global leading Facilities Management provider that delivers exceptional value for Real Estate occupiers and owners. They currently have a unique opportunity for an Assistant Program Manager to join a state planning program in Melbourne.
This is a great career advancement opportunity for someone with experience possibly in project management, contract administration, construction engineering or architecture focused role.
Please note all applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to obtain security clearance to be considered for this position.
Main Duties:
- Overseeing the entirety of the program and state-level planning from the client's perspective.
- Assist the Program Manager in reviewing reports for various projects within the built environment, focusing on fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Ensuring effective governance and contract administration across all projects.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure the delivery of the program
- Overseeing maintenance, technical facilities operations, capital upgrades, and budget management for building projects.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Building and Construction, Architecture or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Junior Architect, Engineer or Contracts Administrator
- Extensive knowledge in project/program management
- Enthusiastic and willing-to-learn attitude
