We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our respected and established restaurant group. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will lead and motivate our dedicated staff to create memorable moments for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining impeccable restaurant standards and upholding our commitment to hospitality excellence.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll know you’re right for the role if you have all of the above and more:
- Substantial (3+ years) senior leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant business
- Excellent leadership capability inclusive of the natural ability to effectively communicate, motivate and organise
- Hands-on management and training style
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Proven capability to control costs and drive revenue
- A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to problem solve on your feet in a positive manner
- High attention to detail
- Wine & Cocktail knowledge a bonus
Your Responsibilities
We are looking for hospitality professionals who have the ability to work alongside their team and strengthen what has already been instilled. We are seeking Managers who enjoy training and developing the staff underneath them and have a sharp eye for detail and thorough understanding of budgets as well as the knowledge and drive to exceed them. The R&R's include but are not limited to:
- Manage rostering, recruitment, and some stock management
- Navigate restaurant compliance requirements efficiently
- Nurture and develop the potential of our team members
- Engage with the local community to make a positive impact beyond our walls
