AddressCS GAS is a specialist supplier of well optimisation, production and process equipment, process control systems and a provider of gas field services. Our organisation has a multi-discipline engineering focus with operations that include fabrication, manufacturing, switch boards, electrical, instrumentation and industrial control systems.
We provide a range of products, semi customised equipment solutions and bespoke projects for our clients and we are actively expanding both our standard product lines and capability to turn out engineering and projects for the top tier mining, oil and gas clients.
Projects typically range in size for $250K to $20m. These vary from pure fabrication or field services through to complete turn key / EPC projects such as gas drainage plants and power stations feeds.
We pride ourselves on the delivery of excellent products and solutions on tight schedules and budgets; bringing the best from large and small organisations together. We typically do this by "insourcing" and integration across the product development lifecycle.
The successful applicant will be focused on:
- Performing and checking detailed design calculations such as line, vessel and equipment sizing.
- Contributing to and checking engineering drawings such as P&IDs, PFDs, Hazardous Area diagrams and General Arrangements etc.
- Sourcing quotes, working with suppliers and vendors to secure the right instrumentation and equipment for each project.
- Preparing equipment manuals.
- Integrating the overarching design, stakeholder requirements and discipline engineer work.
- Collaborate with designers to execute design and find solutions.
- Engineering / layout of equipment
- Attending and contributing to HAZOP’s and Design Review meetings.
- Maintenance and operational documentation.
- Assisting factory acceptance testing.
- Further developing and implementing internal systems, specifications and standardisation.
- Developing and implementing pilot test plans
- Development of commissioning plans, and providing commissioning support
- Authorising and checking controls documentation such as Functional Descriptions, Cause and Effect Matrices and involvement in functional testing to ensure process design intent is delivered.
Applicants will have a strong background in the design and execution of Oil, Gas and Mining equipment or heavy fabrication or manufacturing experience with exposure to pressure vessels, major process equipment, mechanical structures, and piping systems.
Essential
- Bachelor of Engineering (Process/Chemical).
- 5+ years’ experience as a Process Engineer.
- Project / design experience with process / gas systems.
- Experience specifying equipment such as pumps, compressors and instrumentation.
- Understanding of requirements for equipment and instrumentation within Hazardous Areas.
- Computer literacy and highly proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Australian Drivers License.
- Good understanding of process control and operations.
- Ability to deliver on time.
Desirable
- RPEQ
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Experience in the Coal Mining sector.
- Experience across design / construction / commissioning and operations.
Attitude, adaptability, an ability to quickly identify issues and solve problems is valued above a candidates CV.
A valid driver’s license and the right to work in Australia are mandatory for the role.
