The Role:
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be passionate, driven and well-presented. You will be hands-on, with exceptional customer service standards and the ability to prioritise tasks.
Responsibilities will include: assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage department. Offer a guest experience that goes ‘above and beyond’ with exceptional and personalised guest service skills. Having a strong food and beverage knowledge, and being able to host our guests in a distinctly unique and intimate setting. Train and oversee Front of House staff in all areas of the Food and Beverage department. You will be reporting to the Restaurant Manager and the Eagles Nest Brisbane and Outlets Manager and will be required to cover for these positions as required predominately during the evening service.

To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a hotel food and beverage operation
- A la carte experience
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and train team members
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated high-level ability to liaise effectively with customers and supervise staff
- High standard of personal presentation and grooming
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and resolve customer issues and complaints
- Extensive knowledge of wine/spirits and cocktails
- RSA (RMLV desirable)
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and WH&S
- Sound knowledge of stock and cost control
- High standard of personal presentation and grooming
