Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated restaurant staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Maintain high standards of service, quality, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in managing inventory, controlling costs, and optimising profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, set goals, and foster a positive work environment.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities, making recommendations for improvements and innovations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food preparation, safety standards, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts with professionalism.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software, POS systems, and other relevant technology.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the needs of a fast-paced restaurant environment.
