About the role
Our Service team have an opening for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop automotive technicians and lead the team in the workshop to deliver quality mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs of vehicles in a timely manner that will enable North Shore Automotive to be industry best
Responsibilities:
- Along with the Service Manager, manage and drive all activities within a large scale pre delivery area
- Provide a superior quality service by ensuring quality and efficient work
- Ensure that the schedule of new vehicles delivery is on track addressing any issues that arise.
- High level of Communication between all internal customers and stakeholders
- Problem solving abilities
- Contribute to the departments ongoing improvements and processes
- Ability to work autonomously
Key Skills and Experiences:
- Sound experience in a automotive environment or within a multi Franchise vehicle dealership workshop operation.
- Demonstrate that you can work in a team environment.
- Sound knowledge of workshop procedures, processes and efficiencies
- Strong communication skills – both written and oral
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Competence with computed technology system (Era Power or similar)
- Be self-motivated with a good eye for details & take pride in their work
