Responsibilities:
After some initial experience working as part of our recruitment team, you will be assisting our project managers - or growing into a project manager role which involves liaising with researchers and managers in leading Market Research agencies around Australia and overseas.
You will receive their briefs, discuss their requirements, and provide quotes.
Our project managers have responsibility for project delivery, including preparing quotes for clients, setting up new projects, preparing survey questionnaires, sending invitations to our panel members, briefing and supervising the field team, supervising their progress and providing regular updates to your clients. As an assistant - you will be supporting our PMs in all aspects of this role until you are in a position to manage projects by yourself.
Essential Qualities:
You are driven by delivering excellent customer service. You like your customers to know how good you are!
You are confident in dealing with people and are not afraid to recommend doing things differently.
You are a ‘people person’ and a natural communicator.
You have exceptional admin skills and attention to detail.
This can be a ‘full on’ environment at times, where you will be handling multiple, fast turn-around projects as well as managing high expectations from your clients – so you need to be someone who can work as part of a team but can also work autonomously after initial training.
Ideal Experience:
While experience in Market Research would be extremely desirable, it is not essential if you are a quick learner. Strong admin skills combined with a good personality and common sense are the key.
Of course, it would be ideal if you have had some hands-on experience in Market Research and understand what it means to deliver ‘quality’ respondents.
If you have done some telephone interviewing or recruiting before – that would be useful experience to draw on.
It would be helpful if you know how to write a basic questionnaire and even better if you have some experience with survey software.
