Cert III Sports Turf Management qualified greenkeeper for position of Assistant Sports Turf Manager.Responsibilities include supervision and participation in turf management and maintenance to all turf areas and sporting grounds to a large Ormiston and Waterford Private Schools and large cricket complex along with support to other projects across the Brisbane Metro area.The ideal applicant will have:Able to work in a team environment and able to adapt if required.
Excellent attention to detail on all works.
General understanding of irrigation.
A valid drivers licence.
Able to apply and supervise the application of pesticides and fertilisers.
General understanding of machine maintenance and operations of Tractors (Tractor attachment items), Cylinder Mowers, Side Discharge Mowers, Collection Mowers Brush-cutters, Blowers etc.
Working with Children and Police Checks required.
Experience in turf and sports maintenance. (Cricket, Rugby Union, Soccer, Hockey, Athletics and Touch).
