Milligram has been loved by our online customers for over 15 years and is one of Australia’s most exciting retail stores. We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager who shares our passion for design-led stationery and lifestyle brands (eg Moleskine, LAMY, Studio Milligram, Kinto and many more) to be part of the success of our Sydney CBD flagship store in George St.
Our team is passionate about delivering a memorable service experience, connecting our customers with our amazing brands and the right product for their needs. As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll be a valued leader in our team, working in a collaborative, supportive environment to achieve results as we drive sales and service in one of our newest teams.
The Role
You will role model sales and service excellence, supporting the team to achieve results the Milligram way. You will be responsible for:
- Working alongside the Store Manager and existing Assistant Store Manager to provide leadership support to the team, running the store at designated times (preferred roster Tuesday-Saturday with some flexibility from time to time)
- Supporting the team to achieve store KPI’s and sales budgets
- Delivery of exceptional personal sales results
- Maintaining impeccable store presentation standards, including VM execution & cleaning standards, with an eye for detail
- Assisting with inventory management and shrinkage control
- Applying high standards of organisation and communication to ensure your team has a clear understanding of product and business expectations
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in retail sales with exceptional sales results
- A strong passion for sales and customer service
- An eye for visual merchandising in a premium product context
- Excellent people and communication skills, with previous leadership/supervisory experience highly regarded
- A positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude
- A curious mind, always wanting to learn more about our brands and sharing this passion with your team and customers
- Being self-motivated, with confidence to work autonomously and lead by example
