About the Role
Primo Foods are recruiting for an Assistant Storeperson to be responsible for assisting the Engineering spares department in managing store, purchase orders and incoming shipments and allocating associated charges. This is a permanent full-time wages position earning $27 per hour at our facility in Wacol.
Responsibilities include:
- Control inventory activities day-to-day across Maintenance areas.
- Support Purchasing Coordinator as required with day-to-day purchasing activities
- Constantly review and optimise stock levels
- Complete monthly stocktake/cycle counts
- Check/receipt ordered stock and control despatch to internal employees
- Assist with end of month procedures
- Control store locations physically in SAP
About you:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, warehouse operations or logistics.
- Experience with SAP Purchasing and end-to-end processes is preferred but not essential.
- Forklift licence preferable, not mandatory
- Demonstrated computer literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
