About the role
While being supported by your operations supervisor, play a key role in overseeing, directing, and leading employees and contractors at sites across our Lock group.
Support operations planning to ensure we safely and efficiently receive and store grain, while finding ways to improve.

Duties
- Effectively supervise, direct and lead employees and contractors, under the leadership of the operations supervisor.
- Support the operations supervisor with grain storage and handling functions, including staff and systems performance.
- Safety, food safety and quality documentation administration.
- Assist with operations planning to comply with safety, quality systems and efficiency targets.
- Ensure the quality and quantity of grain stored at the sites.
- Support the recruitment, selection, and induction processes across the group.
About you
- Proven supervisory experience within an operational environment preferable
- Effective leadership and team building skills
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to accept new challenges
- Willing to undertake professional development and training
- Previous bulk grain handling experience preferable
