Opportunities Available

We currently have two Assistant Swim School Manager positions available at our facilities in Cotton Tree and Coolum. If you're passionate about teaching kids new skills, and assist in leading a dedicated team of Swim Instructors we want to hear from you! 

The Assistant Swim School Manager assists with the day-to-day operational management of the Learn to Swim team to ensure programs are delivered in a progressive, customer focused and methodical manner, and to ensure children are safe around water. 

The position works closely with the Swim School Manager to ensure the program is delivered inline with BlueFit’s established systems, processes and service standards. while focusing on opportunities for continuous improvement and improved service delivery.  This is not a 9 to 5 industry so we do need someone who can work some weekends and public holidays.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience supervising a team of Swim Instructors
• Face to face stakeholder management experience
• An inclusive approach to service. Our customer base is diverse and we love what this offers our workforce and want someone that can ensure all our customers feel welcome.
• Can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile
• Swimming & Water Safety Teacher Certification (or equivalent)
• Current accreditation in First Aid, CPR and a Working With Children Check.

A typical day might have you doing the following:

• Manage leads, cancellations, outstanding money and database management.
• Pro-actively marketing BlueFit’s products and services
• Work with the Swim School Manager to ensure rosters are complete.
• Meet regularly with the Swim School Team including; Pool Deck Coordinators/Concierge, LTS instructors and coaches (where applicable) to assess the progress of the LTS program. 
• Ensure teachers and Pool Deck Coordinators/Concierge are practising vigilance in their supervision to ensure safe outcomes at all times.
