The Role:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated full-time Assistant Venue Manager to join our Lobby Bar team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to lead and inspire our team by ensuring an exceptional guest experience every time.

Lobby Bar is a bustling and vibrant venue located within the hotel in the heart of James Street Precinct. We are open seven days a week and serve delightful breakfasts, sumptuous lunches, and delectable dinners. Whether it is a glass of wine, a crafted cocktail, or a leisurely afternoon, the Lobby Bare is the perfect destination for our guests.
What we are looking for:
To excel in this role, you should have the following:
- Two years experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant and/or 5-star hotel
- A deep understanding of luxury service, ensuring the restaurant’s flow is seamless while proactively identifying and resolving any potential issues
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a diverse team through consistent leadership and training
- A calm and composed demeanour when interacting with guests and leading your team
- Confidence in making decisions, excellent time management, and practical planning skills to consistently enhance the guest experience
- Availability to work on a flexible 7-day roster
