Faber Vineyard is a well established boutique family operated winery in the Swan Valley. We are committed to crafting the most outstanding range of distinctive regional wines.
This is a hands on job across all winery and vineyard tasks, with the chance to be totally involved in all stages of winemaking. A strong work ethic, discipline, attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential.
Tasks include
- cellar work - racking, blending, filtering wine, barrel work
- laboratory work - sampling, simple analysis and trial work
- vintage operations: crushing, pressing, pumping over, yeasting
- bottling - filling and capping, labelling, stacking
- vineyard - pruning, harvest, tractor work, trellising, planting
- involvement in winery events and functions
You must have Australian residency.
You will preferably have previous winery or vineyard experience. Remuneration appropriate to skill and experience will be negotiated.
You will be able to work on your feet all day, be physically fit, able to lift cases of wine, grape crates, materials and equipment over 20kgs.
You will be available to work up to 6 days per week up to 12 hours per day during the vintage period.
Forklift experience and permit is preferred
