Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.About the roleWe are looking for an energetic, client-focused Office Leader in our Ipswich Office with solid experience in personal injuries law who will be responsible for managing a reduced file load along with supervision responsibilities of a busy team.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include running personal injury files, developing and mentoring lawyers of varying levels of experience, team management of both lawyers and legal support team members, with a key focus on building the practice, helping to oversee the financial performance of the office, and day to day management of office matters.The experience we are looking forYou will ideally will have experience leading a team and be able to meet the following criteria:
- Extensive experience in Workers' Compensation, Public Liability and Compulsory Third-Party claims.
- Demonstrated litigation experience.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Demonstrated capacity in executing business development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience providing high level client service.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to file management.
- Experience working in a high-volume work environment.
- An Accredited Specialisation in Personal Injuries would be advantageous however not essential.
- Handover with the current Office Leader.
- Support, guidance and mentoring from a dedicated Supervising Principal.
- Extensive online training and access to the MB Leadership Library.

- Support from the Complex Litigation Team to assist with difficult matters.
- Ongoing support from the People and Culture and Learning and Development Team.
