Associate - Corporate & M&A

Join our client's Corporate Practice team! They are currently seeking a senior lawyer who wants to work alongside one of their founding partners.

In this role, you will primarily focus on private mergers and acquisitions, with a specific emphasis on the Australian private equity sector. You will assist local and overseas funds with their platform investments, roll-ups, and exits. The team has extensive experience in private equity and also provides guidance on M&A transactions, management equity incentive plans, and director duties for blue chip corporates and founders. You will benefit from their expertise in navigating the increasingly complex regulatory and legal environment.
The ideal candidate for this position:

• Has 3+ years of experience, preferably in a private practice setting.
• Possesses a strong background in Corporate M&A.
