At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our customers. Our Institutional bank helps our largest customers move trade and capital around the region and transition their operations to net zero carbon.
About the Role
The Associate Director, Transaction Banking Financial Institutions role is critical to making this happen and will be responsible in managing, growing, and developing a client portfolio consisting of primary and secondary banking customer relationships, covering banks in the UK, Europe and Africa.
This exciting opportunity arises amidst a period of significant development within the payments industry. Externally, there is a key focus on real-time payments, the need for clients to realign their business objectives and how ANZ can support in this transition. The role's objectives are to foster business growth within this sector by collaborating with key senior stakeholders, leveraging the business strategy, and contributing to the ongoing expansion of ANZ Clearing Services and Domestic Agency Services. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with the broader Transaction Banking business, as well as exposure to colleagues across various global regions for enhanced learning and collaboration opportunities.

Also desirable is a person who has experience in payments, strong research, analytics and presentation skills and has a genuine interest in the evolution of payments and changing technologies.
