In this Associate Director, Governance and Policy role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Assist Senior Director, Governance in daily operations, administration, and staff management.
Coordinate internal audit function, oversee implementation of recommendations, and implement Governance and Policy-related changes.
Draft briefs for Executives, Agency Board, and Board Committees regularly.
Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage whole-of-Agency policies and the Agency Policy Register.
Oversee Conflict of Interest Framework and support Senior Director, Governance with integrity matters.
Perform additional Governance and risk management tasks as needed.

To be successful in this Associate Director, Governance and Policy role, you must have experience in the following areas: Proven governance knowledge and/or internal audit management experience is a must.
Proficient in Accounting, Finance, and Governance, with knowledge of relevant Auditing Standards.
Experience in contemporary business practices and applying them in the workplace, providing sound advice in Governance matters.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage workload priorities, meet multiple deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.
Completion or substantial progression towards full membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand is ideal.
