The successful applicant will be expected to immediately analyse and execute new transactions.
The role is based in Melbourne's CBD. The firm are well known for a good supportive work environment, diligent investments and a number of discretionary fund mandates.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 8 years real estate finance or investment related experience, gained in a property banking team, boutique property financier, investment banking firm, fund manager, development group or private equity firm;
- A track record of investing and managing real estate transactions preferably of an equity or preferred equity in nature;
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Commerce, Law or Property is preferred but not essential;
- A diverse technical skill base including a strong grasp of financial and feasibility modelling of development and investment transactions across all real estate classes and capital structures;
- Ability to complete financial, market and legal due diligence;
- Ability to review and negotiate term sheets and formal legal documentation
- Strong commercial skills and the ability to 'think outside the box' when analysing and structuring transactions;
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills;
