Perth College is seeking an Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration who has a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to think critically outside of traditional boundaries working across our Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 School. The Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration should have a future-focused, evidence-informed and visionary approach, playing a key role in bringing the School’s Strategic Vision, Purpose and Values to life. Reporting to the Director of Learning & Teaching, the Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration is a key member of the School’s Academic Leadership Team and will work as a Senior Leader and an influencer across all areas of the Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 School. In collaboration with other middle and senior leaders, the Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration develops a vision of excellence that inspires the highest quality education across all learning areas.
The Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration develops and leads through a coaching approach that promotes TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION and pedagogical innovation throughout the curriculum.
The Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration models excellence in pedagogical practice, TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION, leadership, and management and is responsible for best-practice use of the LMS (SchoolBox) and leading TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION to foster best-practice education across the entire school. The Associate Director of Pedagogy & Technology Integration is expected to support the School's Vision, Purpose and Strategic Intent by working with all members of the School Community, Heads of Department and the Senior Leadership Team to develop a vision for how technology can be utilised to enhance, improve and support communication, curriculum and learning as well as the operational efficiency of the School.
To be successful in this role, you need to possess proven knowledge and experience of best practice in inclusive education and your application needs to address specific success criteria to support this.
This is a full-time, 5-year contract term position with the equivalent of a 0.2 to 0.4 FTE teaching load, depending on the annual School priorities.
