We govern and operate almost 300 primary and secondary schools, employ 16,000 staff and educate over 114,000 students. A recent Directorate redesign is being implemented to ensure we can achieve the Vision of our ambitious MACS2030 strategy – that every student is inspired and enabled to flourish and enrich the world. The newly created senior leadership role of Associate Director, Regional Operations leads a large, multi-disciplinary team and is directly responsible for continuous improvement in school service delivery and the performance of school leaders, to achieve improved learning outcomes in all schools across MACS diverse systems. Reporting to the Director Education Excellence, the appointee is accountable for planning and implementing initiatives to drive exceptional performance in school and student outcomes aligned with strategic goals, building team capacity, and also supports staff in the management of students with complex needs. With relevant tertiary and, ideally, post-graduate qualifications, you demonstrate outstanding service or program delivery in a large, complex organisational environment. You possess well-developed strategic leadership and people management experience, preferably in an educational setting, and are aligned to the ethos of Catholic education. An outstanding, collaborative, and trusted leader known for your integrity and innovative mindset, you present with a track record in creating and fostering cultures of accountability and high-performance in service delivery.
