Associate Director - eHealth Operations

  • Permanent, Full Time with monthly day off

About the role
This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in leading optimisations and enhancements to support clinical workflow within the EMR platform at Eastern Health.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
  • 5 + years proven experience in leading teams providing specialist application and implementation support for the Eastern Health EMR (Oracle Health - PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, SurgiNet Anaesthesia, Device Integration, ICU) or another Electronic Medical Record application
  • Healthcare, Information Technology or Information Management professional degree qualification or equivalent work experience (e.g. Medical Practitioner, Nursing, Allied Health, Information Technology or Information Management, etc.).
  • Experience in working in a complex project environment, ideally in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Proven leadership and experience in design, configuration, testing and troubleshooting Oracle Health Millennium with the ability to seek advice and direction from technical experts.
  • Experience and a record of success in liaising and communicating with key project stakeholders at all levels, with effective stated outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of healthcare data / reporting and experience with data analytics at various stages of an implementation of a major transformational project
  • High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project to produce professional documentation and presentations
  • Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and logical and effective manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a number of concurrent tasks and shift priorities quickly to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Budget/financial management skills
  • Current valid Driver’s License

Desirable: Understanding of Health Service management systems and reporting
Desirable: An understanding of clinical/administrative workflow at the point of care, in particular in relation to identifying benefit opportunities
