SalaryYou’re an experienced Trade Finance Product specialistWe are building innovative & sustainable Trade & Working Capital solutions for our clientsFull time, permanent Sydney based roleSee yourself in our team:Commodities, Trade and Carbon (CTC) is a department of CBA’s Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) division and is responsible for the Group’s commodity, Trade Finance and carbon related activities. This covers physical trading, derivative markets and the full suite of Trade Finance Products.Within the Trade Finance business, the product management team is responsible for the execution of a range of operational, strategic and business transformation initiatives. Working closely with Group and IB&M stakeholders, the team supports the growth of the CTC business by delivering; managing and supporting a range of innovative, Trade Finance and carbon products to meet the needs of our Institutional, Corporate and Business Bank customers.Do work that matters:Reporting to the Director Trade Product Management, this highly visible Product Management Associate Director role will be responsible for executing strategy, the delivery and implementation of products, processes and projects for Trade Finance & Working Capital as well as drive, lead and deliver best practice product governance. Further responsibilities will include:Managing the operating effectiveness of the Trade Finance business (products, processes and controls), including driving management of risk issues.Driving the end-to-end development and implementation of Trade & Working Capital productsEnsure strategic objectives shaped at Management level are translated into tactical deliverable business plans with mechanisms to track key milestonesWorking in partnership with key stakeholders across IB&M and Business Bank to achieve product, client and revenue outcomesKeeping abreast of regulatory changes that will impact the business taking appropriate steps to ensure compliance.Ensure that business change projects are delivered in line with the banks standards, andWork closely with other product managers to manage the day to day requirements of the banks Trade finance Product suiteWe are interested in hearing from you:These will be hands-on roles, require highly motivated self-starters with proven stakeholder and product management skills and a commercial acumen that can meet the rapid delivery demands of the business. As such, we require a highly skilled and experienced candidate with;Detailed working knowledge in Trade Finance & Working Capital products and markets with practical Trade Finance experience preferably in a product management.Project management experience with a proven ability to lead initiatives, think laterally and drive commercial outcomesHighly developed analytical skills that can be applied across the end-to-end Commodities and Carbon offering, including downstream booking and risk systems.Strong influencing, negotiation, leadership and communication skills.Working knowledge of risk management requirements and the global regulatory environment.This opportunity will give you direct exposure to the growing Carbon, Trade & Commodities business as well as a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
