Transaction Banking:
Transactional Banking is an integral part of the Corporate & Institutional, providing specialist advice to all segments across the broader C&IB banking team. Our Transactional Banking team work collaboratively with clients to develop an overarching digital and payment strategy to optimise the entire value chain, providing solutions to help businesses collect money, manage their cash, and make payments securely.
The role:
Our Transaction Banking team currently have an Associate Director vacancy, with a focus on Banking Financial Institutions, Government and Technology sectors. You'll be responsible for the account management and portfolio growth of complex transactional banking customers within the Corporate & Institutional Bank.
Day to day you will:
Engage with business partners from across the organisation to coordinate the delivery of transactional banking products and services on behalf of customers
Provide insights into how customers are interacting with NAB and identify opportunities for better ways of banking
Act as an escalation point for service related matters
Take responsibility for the provision of training to customers in the usage of NAB eChannel Services and other Products
Proactively manage risk, policy, and compliance requirements by managing controls, issues or breaches as they are identified.
What you'll bring:
A passion for nurturing customer relationships and their respective outcomes
Deep, proven knowledge and direct experience in transaction banking, underpinned by an understanding of best practice capabilities
Proven capability in managing complex client relationships, ideally within the Technology sector
Practical communication skills to translate needs at a strategic and operational level internally and externally, making effective decisions and balancing client, business, and stakeholder needs
A trusted brand that’s well known for building and maintaining effective and constructive working relationships with a range of senior internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated tenacity and resilience to increase Enterprise value by working closely and maintaining strong agreed strategy within the Corporate Bank.
