The Role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Adviser, you will provide quality strategic financial plans and manage investment portfolios for a book of clients. Working closely within the team, you will contribute ideas for process improvements and actively work to create a respectful and successful team environment.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Developing strategic and accurate Statements of Advice and Records of Advice
• Supporting Senior Advisers in the preparation of advice and in the review of documents, including data collection and data accuracy
• Working closely with Senior Advisers to manage clients and investment portfolios to ensure they are up to date to report accurate information
• Working closely with Senior Advisers to complete regular reporting requirements for clients, keeping them informed of any portfolio movements
• Ensuring all client data is accurately recorded and maintained in all business systems, including personal, financial, lifestyle and service delivery details (eg. Xplan)
About You
Currently, you will be working as an Associate Adviser within the Financial Planning industry. You will have demonstrated high values, integrity and have strong ethical behaviours.
To be considered for this role, you need to possess the following attributes:
• Between 2-4 years’ experience working in Financial Planning, and at least 1 year working in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of the financial planning process and legislative requirements
• Experience or desire to work in a small team environment.
• Knowledge and experience using Xplan.
• Excellent knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
• Great interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to work in teams or independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage own time.
