We are looking for an Associate Graphic Designer with creative flair and strong attention to detail to join our team on a full-time basis. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of print and digital media to create a variety of marketing materials. You will encompass the ability to interpret briefs to produce high quality design assets.
You will also have communication and interpersonal skills together with strong organisational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines, with the ability to work independently, in a team environment and under supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to ask questions is essential.
Reporting to the Graphic Design Manager, projects assigned to you will include:
- Designing and collating adverts for our multiple printed brochures, trade catalogues and newsletters.
- Designs and building EDM campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Updating existing documents and artwork.
- Creating ad hoc marketing materials including flyers, posters, OOH.
- Creating website and social media assets.
- Contributing to maintaining and updating our product image library for our website.
- Internal printing may be required.
Requirements for the role:

- Adobe programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Mailchimp
- Microsoft Office 365
- Previous catalogue experience.
- Typographic and layout skills.
- Pre-press knowledge.
- High attention to detail with the ability to think critically, problem solve, show initiative and ask questions as needed.
- Strong ability to jump between projects as required.
- Must be able to take brief to final deliverable.
- Meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work autonomously.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and multitask across multiple projects at one time.

Desirables:
- Desktop publishing template creation.
- Copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Previous retail and/or wholesale experience.
- Understanding of basic HTML coding.
- Experience with Monday.com.
This is an on-site position Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, based in Keysborough, Melbourne. Computer and software will be provided plus initial training and ongoing support.
