This role is a salary Grade 7/8 with the base salary for this role starting at $106,025 - $117,363 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join us as an Associate, Infrastructure Portfolio Performance at Infrastructure NSW (INSW).
In this role, you will play a key role in assisting with data analysis from diverse sources, developing reports and data visualisations to identify patterns and trends within the State's Infrastructure Portfolio of capital projects, thereby guiding decision-making processes. Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:
- Provide input and support for the preparation of accurate regular and ad-hoc reports, including to senior executive infrastructure committees and Cabinet, to facilitate sound decision making.
- Source, collate and compile data and information from multiple sources (portal, excel data bases, word documents) to identify emerging issues or inconsistencies, track, and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Use a range of metrics to assist with monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the State's Infrastructure Portfolio of capital projects to inform decision making.
- Support the development of reports and data visualisations to identify patterns and trends and input into cabinet and strategic reports.
- Perform efficient and effective Secretariat functions for various related committees which support the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will possess at least 5 years of experience in data analytics and reporting, along with a strong interest in the planning, development, procurement, and/or delivery of built infrastructure projects. Advanced proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft suite of products to analyse and manipulate data, as well as produce visual presentations, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions, coupled with sound abilities in report writing and visual presentation design.
