Develop and deliver an engaging learning experience for Psychology students at Charles Darwin University (CDU) 

About the Position
As an Associate Lecturer – Psychology, you will make strong contributions to the Discipline of Psychology teaching programs and engage in scholarly advancement of teaching to further enhance the profile and performance of the discipline. You will be involved in the development and teaching of units (courses), utilising both on-campus and flexible-mode of teaching and learning support, with your contribution to teaching being primarily at the undergraduate level. 

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • An honour’s level or higher qualification in Psychology
  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in the development of appropriate programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings and discipline committees.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop subjects for online delivery.
  • Expertise in a specific area of psychological inquiry, particularly areas relevant to National Mental Health priorities.
  • Ability to forge strong collaborative links and contribute to the growth of the profession in the region.
  • Willingness to embrace the knowledge, skills, and ideals of practice in rural and remote areas.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $72,702 to $109,071 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,061 to $127,613 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
