About us
UTS Rapido is an R&D Engineering and Technology Consultancy that was founded in 2016 in the Faculty of Engineering and IT (FEIT). Our primary goal is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by delivering innovative solutions that have both commercial and social impact. We have an expert team of multi-disciplinary engineers and experienced project managers who collaborate with industry clients and not-for-profit organisations (NFPs) to develop end-to-end solutions as well as smaller projects to fill an expertise gap. Our three principal areas of expertise are mechatronics, software, and UX & digital. By combining academic expertise, commercial R&D experience, and access to state-of-the-art facilities, we can develop new products and services that are market ready.
