We have a unique opportunity for a Mechatronic Graduate Engineer in our Castle Hill head office. In this role, the successful candidate will:
- Perform complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products/processes/techniques.
- Assess feasibility and soundness of proposes engineering test/products/equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation for mechatronic systems, including design files, schematics, bill of materials (BOM), user manuals, and maintenance guides.
- Conduct engineering, research, and development assignments to develop and apply relevant Parker products and technology which meets customer requirements.
- Size and configure electric motors and inverters, to suit application requirements.
- Design and implement control and operation of mechatronic systems, including programming of microcontrollers.
With a recently awarded tertiary qualification in Mechatronic Engineering, knowledge and understanding of the following, we would love to hear from you. Together we can formulate your development program to learn the rest:
- Design and implementation of motion control systems
- 3-D CAD Autodesk or equivalent,
- CodeSys programming
- AC Variable Speed Drives
- Industrial Servo Drives and servo motors
- Fieldbus communications (CanBus, Ethernet IP etc)
- PLC programming
- Electrical circuit design for both motor, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
