Associate Nurse Manager - Nursing and Midwifery Pool Workforce

About the role

The Associate Nurse Manager Nursing and Midwifery Pool Workforce (MNMPW) is responsible for supporting the Manager to lead the pool workforce, ensuring effective coordination and management of this team, and utilization of this resource across Eastern Health.  The Associate Nurse Manager will provide collaborative clinical and professional support in the delivery of innovative and creative workforce initiatives.

 The position sits within the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit (NMWFU). The NMWFU at Eastern Health supports recruitment and engagement of nurses and midwives across the organization, which plays a crucial role in the delivery of high quality patient care.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via AHPRA
  • Previous management experience desirable
  • Post Graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
