About the role
Metro North Health provides guidance, governance and support for health services on Norfolk Island, which are delivered by the Commonwealth-operated Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Service (NIHRACS).
The Assistant Nursing Director is responsible for leading clinical and corporate priority areas for the Norfolk Island Support Program and overseeing the operation of the Metro North Norfolk Island Support Team and other relevant programs of work to ensure delivery of an integrated, safe and effective service.
Reporting to the Executive Director Clinical Governance, the Assistant Nursing Director will provide effective leadership in the planning, management, and delivery of safe, quality consumer/person centred care within the Norfolk Island Support Program.
