The Role:
An excellent opportunity exists for a driven Planning and Environment Lawyer, with 3-5 years PAE experience to join our property, planning and environment team.
As a valued team member of this dynamic team, you will enjoy ongoing challenges and personal development opportunities, assuming responsibility for your own caseload while benefiting from guidance from partners and senior team members. Your responsibilities will span across a diverse and interesting range of matters including:
- Litigation and advice in planning and environmental matters including development assessment, compliance and enforcement
- Due diligence investigations regarding the acquisition and disposal of development, agricultural, commercial and residential sites
- Negotiating resumptions of land
About you:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Planning and Environment Lawyer, including litigation proficiency
- Deep understanding of Queensland’s planning and environmental legislation, regulations, and policies
- A strong work ethic, technical acumen, and organisational prowess
- Proactive in delivering timely, practical solutions to intricate legal challenges
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service and building lasting relationships
